Larry Wanvol Barnett, 68, of Abilene passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in Abilene.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Cross Plains Memorial Park.

Larry was born on April 26, 1949 in Colorado City, TX to the late R L Wanvol Barnett and Billie Rohus Barnett. He was an Army veteran having proudly served in Vietnam. Larry worked in demolition in south America and Europe constructing tunnels and roads. He also worked as a mechanic and was a member of the VFW.

Larry is survived by a brother, Allan Barnett and wife Barbara, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
